I was allowed to change the strap from the original rubber strap to this James Bond style NATO strap and it compliments the watch perfectly. For such a low priced watch this thing is beautifully made.

Casio says the band width is 20mm but the band looks like it's cut out for the lugs which may be smaller. I think mostly its just a functionality and comfort thing for military purposes. Less likely to get ruined than steel. The Watchdives Nylon Watch Band on Amazon is my favourite of all my NATOs. It's a really nice, silky, seatbelt nylon, with sturdy hardware. Only $10 off Amazon. For the Duro, 22mm is the best fit.
